Product Details

Maintain the integrity and performance of your rehabilitation equipment with this specialized Plastic Support, designed exclusively for the Artromot K1 and Active-K Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) machines. As a critical component for patient stability, this support ensures that the leg remains correctly aligned throughout the therapy session. Constructed from high-quality, medical-grade materials, it withstands the rigors of daily clinical use while providing a secure foundation for the limb. Whether you are replacing a worn component or refurbishing a unit for a new patient, this support restores the functionality and safety of your CPM device.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Precision Compatibility: Engineered to fit seamlessly with Artromot K1 and Active-K models, ensuring a secure attachment without the need for tools or modifications.
  • Hygienic Design: The smooth, non-porous surface resists fluid absorption and allows for rapid, effective disinfection between patient treatments.
  • Anatomic Contouring: The shape provides optimal support to the lower limb, reducing pressure points and enhancing patient comfort during extended therapy sessions.
  • Impact Resistance: Made from durable thermoplastic that resists cracking and wear, extending the service life of your rehabilitation equipment.

Indications for Use

  • Component Replacement: Ideal for replacing cracked, discolored, or compromised supports on existing Artromot K1 or Active-K units.
  • Sanitary Refresh: Recommended when transferring CPM machines between patients to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and infection control.
  • Stability Maintenance: Essential for machines where the current support no longer holds the limb firmly, preventing slippage during flexion and extension cycles.

How to Use the AirWalker Boot

  • Before using the AirWalker boot, ensure that it is properly sized for the patient's foot and leg. The boot should fit snugly but not be overly tight.
  • Place a sock on the affected foot before putting on the boot. This will help prevent irritation and blisters.
  • Loosen the straps on the boot before inserting the foot. Slowly slide the foot into the boot, making sure that it is positioned correctly in the designated area.
  • Tighten all straps, starting from the top of the boot and working down to ensure a secure fit.
  • The patient should wear the AirWalker boot at all times, except when showering or participating in physical therapy exercises as directed by their healthcare provider.
  • When walking with the AirWalker boot, it is important to take careful steps and use assistive devices if needed. Crutches or a walker may be recommended for added stability while walking.
