Product Details

Manage the full spectrum of patient recovery with Physio, a comprehensive 4-channel stimulator engineered for clinical versatility. In a demanding rehabilitation environment, having a single device that can adapt to standard muscle stimulation needs as well as complex neurological indications is essential for efficient workflow and patient outcomes. Physio bridges the gap between basic pain management and advanced specialized treatments, ensuring you have the right technology for every stage of the healing process.

Designed to handle all indications of electrotherapy, Physio offers robust support for everything from standard TENS and NMES protocols to intricate treatments for denervated muscles and ACL recovery. Whether you are treating a professional athlete requiring high-level conditioning or a patient navigating neurological rehabilitation, this device provides the precision and power necessary to facilitate improvement. Its capability to handle specific conditions such as hyperhidrosis, urology issues, and edema prevention makes it an indispensable asset for clinics looking to offer holistic care options.

Key Features and Clinical Benefits

  • Versatile 4-Channel Stimulation: Treat multiple muscle groups or distinct areas simultaneously, allowing for more time-efficient sessions and comprehensive coverage during complex rehabilitation protocols.
  • Comprehensive Rehabilitation Programs: Featuring Rehabilitation I & II, the device supports muscle atrophy treatment and reinforcement. It also includes specific Neurologic Rehabilitation protocols, making it suitable for patients recovering from strokes or other central nervous system disorders.
  • Advanced Pain Management: Equipped with Pain Relief I & II categories, Physio utilizes TENS and other waveforms to manage acute post-surgical pain or chronic conditions, helping improve patient comfort levels significantly.
  • Vascular and Edema Support: The dedicated Vascular programs improve circulation, while the Direct Current settings are specifically configured for the management of hyperhidrosis and the prevention of edema, addressing fluid retention and circulation issues effectively.
  • Specialized Muscle Care: Unlike standard stimulators, Physio includes protocols for Denervated Muscles, allowing clinicians to provide targeted therapy for patients with nerve damage who require specific pulse durations and waveforms.
  • Urology and Incontinence Treatment: Broaden your scope of practice with dedicated Incontinence programs designed to strengthen pelvic floor muscles and assist in urological recovery.
  • Athletic Conditioning: Support return-to-play protocols with Conditioning I & II, designed to build endurance, strength, and explosive power in recovering muscles.
  • Optimum Program Configuration: The device is organized to maximize ease of use, ensuring that the most effective parameters for Rehabilitation, Pain Relief, and specialized care are readily accessible.

Specifications Intelligence Technology

  • Muscle Intelligence (Mi) Technology
The Physio comes equipped with advanced Muscle Intelligence technology on all four channels, utilizing four included Mi-Cables. This system scans the muscle and automatically adjusts the stimulation parameters to the user's physiology. Features include Mi-Scan for personalized parameter settings, Mi-Tens for optimal pain management levels, Mi-Range for effective low-frequency intensity, and Mi-Action for active sessions where the user initiates the contraction.
  • 2+2 Functionality for Maximum Efficiency
Maximize clinical productivity with the 2+2 feature. This allows you to select one program for channels 1 and 2, and a completely different program for channels 3 and 4. You can treat two different body parts on a single patient simultaneously, or even treat two separate patients at the same time. It also enables the combination of NMES and TENS in a single session, providing a holistic approach to recovery.
  • Unique Automatic Ramp Search
Treating partial denervation requires precision to prevent atrophy and limit sclerosis. The Physio is the only device that automatically calculates the ramp for partial denervation. This ensures that only the denervated muscle fibers are stimulated, protecting healthy tissue and ensuring an effective therapeutic outcome without manual guesswork.
  • Customizable Programmability
Every patient requires a unique approach. The Physio allows you to create and personalize programs, customizing parameters to fit specific patient needs. This flexibility ensures that treatment plans can evolve alongside the patient's recovery progress.
  • Trigger Function
Gain full control over specific protocols, such as treating a hemiplegic foot or managing spasticity. The Trigger function allows the working phase to start voluntarily when requested, facilitating better coordination and patient engagement during therapy exercises.
  • Motor Point Pen for Precision
Included in the set, the Motor Point Pen is an essential tool for ensuring optimal electrode placement. When used in combination with the dedicated program, it helps practitioners locate the exact motor point, ensuring the most comfortable and effective stimulation possible.
  • Skip and Session Management
Maintain the flow of your sessions with the Skip function. This feature allows you to manage session time effectively by moving directly to the next phase (such as recovery) whenever needed, ensuring that treatment fits perfectly into the allotted appointment time.
  • Rapid Recharge and Autonomy
Designed for daily heavy use, the Physio offers excellent battery autonomy. The included fast charger completes a full cycle in a maximum of 2.5 hours, ensuring the device is always ready for the next patient.
  • Comprehensive Waveform Options
The device supports a wide range of waveforms to cover various therapeutic goals, including Symmetrical Biphasic, 100% Compensated Monophasic, Rectangular/Triangular pulses, and Galvanic/Direct Current.
  • Reliability and Support
The Physio comes with a detailed practical guide, providing treatment recommendations, technical parameters, and illustrations of electrode placements on the fold-out cover. Additionally, your investment is protected by a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase.

Indications for Use

  • Prevents Muscle Loss: Actively stimulates muscle fibers to retard or prevent disuse atrophy during periods of immobilization.
  • Restores Mobility: Helps maintain or increase range of motion while facilitating the re-education of muscles after injury.
  • Promotes Relaxation: Effective in relaxing muscle spasms and increasing local blood circulation to aid in recovery.
  • Restore Movement Patterns: aids in re-educating muscles, helping the brain reconnect with muscle groups after surgery or injury.
  • Improve Circulation: increases local blood flow to the treated area, delivering vital nutrients required for tissue repair.
  • Soothe Tightness: relaxes muscle spasms that often accompany injury, providing immediate relief from stiffness.

Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS)

The TENS function focuses on sensory nerve stimulation to disrupt pain signals, offering a non-invasive method for managing discomfort.

  • Chronic Pain Management: provides symptomatic relief for intractable, long-term pain conditions.
  • Post-Traumatic and Surgical Relief: serves as an effective adjunctive treatment for acute pain following surgery or physical trauma.
  • Arthritis Support: specifically indicated to alleviate the deep, aching pain associated with arthritic joints.

Pulsed Current Therapy

This mode addresses the physical side effects of injury, such as swelling and loss of motor control.

  • Edema Reduction: significantly reduces swelling (under the negative electrode), helping to decrease pressure on the injured site.
  • Motor Function Facilitation: assists in facilitating voluntary motor function, making it easier to begin moving an injured limb again.
  • Range of Motion: helps maintain or increase range of motion, ensuring joints remain flexible during the recovery process.
