Indications for Use

The Hydrocollator E-1 is indicated for the heating of Moist Heat HotPacs used in physical therapy and rehabilitation. It is suitable for treating conditions such as muscle spasms, pain, stiffness, and arthritis, providing deep, penetrating moist heat to promote relaxation and increase blood flow.

• Fill the tank with distilled water up to the fill line.
• Plug in the unit and turn on the power switch.
• Allow the unit to heat up for approximately 20 minutes.
• Once heated, carefully place the HotPac into the tank using tongs or a towel.
• Allow the HotPac to soak for 10-15 minutes, until it reaches desired temperature.
• Carefully remove HotPac from tank using tongs or a towel and wrap in a dry cover or towel before applying to treatment area.
