Product Details

Ensure the stability and precision of your laser handpiece attachments with the Transparent Closing Ring designed specifically for Stand-off I and II. In clinical environments where accuracy is paramount, this component serves as the critical link between your laser system and the patient interface. Unlike opaque locking mechanisms that block the practitioner's view, this ring features high-optical clarity, allowing you to maintain a full line of sight to the treatment area at all times.

Engineered from durable, medical-grade polymers, the ring withstands the thermal and mechanical stresses of daily operation while providing a secure seal. This tight fit is essential not only for maintaining the correct focal distance provided by the stand-off but also for protecting the delicate internal optics of the handpiece from tissue splatter and plume debris. The ergonomic design features a textured grip surface, allowing for rapid assembly and disassembly during procedure setup or between patients. By securing the stand-off firmly in place, it eliminates micro-movements and vibrations, giving you the confidence to perform delicate treatments with steady, consistent beam delivery.

Key Benefits and Features

  • Unobstructed Visibility: The crystal-clear construction ensures that your view of the target tissue remains blocked, allowing for precise visual monitoring throughout the laser emission.
  • Precision Fit: Manufactured to exact tolerances, the ring guarantees a secure, wobble-free connection for both Stand-off I and Stand-off II attachments.
  • Enhanced Safety: Functions as a protective barrier, preventing smoke residue and biological debris from entering the handpiece mechanism or settling on the lens.
  • Durable Construction: Built to resist cracking and clouding, ensuring long-term performance even after repeated cleaning cycles.
  • Streamlined Workflow: The intuitive threading mechanism allows for quick, tool-free attachment and removal, optimizing your clinical efficiency.
  • Enhanced Stability: Creates a firm, secure connection between the stand-off head and the panel, preventing movement and ensuring your display stays perfectly aligned.
  • Surface Protection: Acts as a protective washer, reducing the risk of cracking or scratching delicate materials like glass or acrylic during the tightening process.
  • Versatile Compatibility: specifically designed to fit both Stand-off I and Stand-off II systems, offering flexibility for various installation projects.
  • Professional Finish: Adds a layer of refinement to your mounting system, ensuring that every detail of your installation looks intentional and high-quality.

Indications for Use

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of the Closing Ring, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Pre-Operative Inspection: Before every procedure, visually inspect the ring for any signs of damage, such as cracks, chips, or significant clouding. A compromised ring may fail to secure the stand-off properly or could obscure visibility.
  • Installation: Align the closing ring over the Stand-off I or II attachment. Rotate the ring clockwise until you feel a firm stop. Do not overtighten, as this may strip the threads or damage the handpiece body. Ensure the stand-off is rigid and does not rotate independently of the ring.
  • During Treatment: Monitor the ring for accumulation of debris. If the transparency is compromised by splatter during a procedure, pause to wipe the surface clean with a non-abrasive, lint-free cloth to maintain visual clarity.
  • Cleaning and Sterilization: Remove the ring from the handpiece immediately after the procedure. Follow the specific sterilization protocols outlined in your laser system’s user manual. generally, these components are compatible with standard autoclave cycles, but chemical wipe-downs should be avoided if they contain solvents known to degrade clear plastics.
  • Replacement: Replace the closing ring if it becomes permanently discolored, opaque, or if the threading no longer holds the stand-off securely.
