Product Details

Recovery after elbow or arm surgery demands precision, comfort, and consistent motion to ensure the best possible outcomes. The ARTROMOT-E2 compact elbow device is engineered to support post-operative rehabilitation by providing continuous passive motion (CPM) therapy that mimics natural movement. Designed with the patient's comfort and the clinician's convenience in mind, this device utilizes an anatomically correct PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) pattern. This sophisticated movement logic ensures that the joint is mobilized safely and effectively, preventing stiffness and promoting healing without placing undue stress on the repair site.

Setting up the device is straightforward and intuitive thanks to the easy swift conversion system. The forearm placement carriage features automatic length adjustment and secure sandwich straps, allowing for a customized fit that accommodates various arm lengths and sizes seamlessly. To streamline therapy management, the ARTROMOT-E2 includes a patient chip card. This feature stores individual therapy data, making it simple to track progress and adjust protocols as needed, ensuring that every session is optimized for the patient's specific stage of recovery.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Precise Range of Motion Control: Achieve exact therapeutic goals with a wide range of motion capabilities. The device offers extension and flexion from -5° to 140°, alongside pronation and supination ranges of 90°/0°/90°, covering the full spectrum of necessary elbow movements.
  • Synchronized Motor Functions: Replicate natural movement patterns with PNF-like motion when motors are synchronized. Alternatively, switch to asynchronous mode to create randomized motion patterns, preventing muscle habituation and engaging the joint in varied ways.
  • Customizable Speed and Timing: Adjust the speed from 1% to 100% to match patient tolerance. The integrated timer allows for precise session management, ranging from minutes to 24 hours of continuous operation, complete with adjustable pause intervals.
  • Safety and Progression: The "Reverse on Load" feature ensures patient safety by reacting to resistance, while the Warm Up Protocol gradually introduces the patient to their maximum range of motion, reducing the risk of strain.
  • Advanced Therapy Protocols: Utilize specialized settings like ISO Motion for separate directional exercising, EROM Repeat for focused end-range rehabilitation, and dedicated Stretching modes to carefully increase flexibility.
  • Patient Data Management: The included Patient Chip Card stores therapy parameters, making it effortless to track progress and maintain consistent settings across multiple sessions.
  • User-Friendly Interface: Navigate settings easily with a clear service menu. The key lock function prevents accidental changes during therapy, and the transport setting automatically positions the motors for safe and compact storage or movement.
  • Versatile Application: The combination of electrical stimulation and optional vacuum therapy allows for a wide range of treatment options including pain relief, muscle strengthening, and injury rehabilitation.
  • Convenient Accessories: The device comes with various accessories such as electrode pads, electrodes for vacuum therapy, and protective covers. These allow for comfortable and effective applications in different areas of the body.
  • Proven Effectiveness: Multiple clinical studies have shown the benefits of combining electrical stimulation with stretching exercises. This makes our EMS system a reliable choice for healthcare professionals looking to improve patient outcomes.
  • Customization Options: With customizable parameters such as intensity, frequency, and pulse width, our system can be tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual patient. This allows for targeted treatment and better results.
  • Easy to Use: Our EMS system is designed to be user-friendly, with simple controls and clear instructions. This makes it easy for healthcare professionals to integrate into their

Advanced Therapy Management

  • Anatomically Correct Motion (PNF Pattern): Mimics natural joint movement to enhance rehabilitation effectiveness and patient comfort.
  • Patient Chip Card: Stores therapy data for easy monitoring and consistent treatment protocol management.
  • Automatic Length Adjustment: The forearm carriage adjusts automatically, ensuring precise alignment and fit for every patient.
  • Sandwich Straps: Securely holds the limb in place, preventing slippage and ensuring safety during motion.
  • Easy Swift Conversion: Allows for quick setup and adjustments, saving valuable clinical time.

Patient Safety and Comfort

Rehabilitation requires a delicate balance between pushing for progress and protecting healing tissue. The ARTROMOT-E2 prioritizes patient comfort and safety through intelligent sensing and ergonomic design.

  • Reverse on Load: To prevent injury, the device features a safety mechanism (steps 1-25) that automatically reverses direction if it encounters resistance, protecting the joint from excessive force.
  • Warm-Up Protocol: The system allows for a gradual progression to the maximum range of motion, warming up the joint to prevent strain during the session.
  • Comfortable Positioning: The forearm placement utilizes a carriage with automatic length adjustment and sandwich straps, ensuring the arm is held securely and comfortably without pressure points.
  • Stretching Mode: The Stretching feature (EX – FLEX – PRO – SUP) provides a careful and smooth increase in the range of motion for a gentle therapeutic experience.
  • Portable Design: Our devices are lightweight and compact, making them ideal for use in both clinical settings and at home. Patients can continue their treatments on-the-go, ensuring consistent therapy even outside of appointments.
  • Affordable Option: Investing in an EMS system can provide a cost-effective alternative to other forms of physical therapy or pain management. With our competitively priced devices, healthcare professionals can offer patients a more budget-friendly option without compromising on quality or effectiveness.
  • Customizable Programs: Each patient's needs and goals are unique, which is why our EMS devices offer customizable programs. Healthcare professionals can adjust the settings to target specific muscle groups or address specific concerns for each individual patient.
  • Multi-Purpose Use: Our EMS devices are not limited to just one type of therapy. They can be used for rehabilitation, pain management, muscle strengthening, and even beauty treatments such as facial toning. This versatility allows healthcare professionals to utilize one device for multiple purposes, saving both time and money.

Indications

The ARTROMOT-E2 is indicated for use in the post-operative treatment and rehabilitation of the following conditions:

  • Arthrotomy and arthroscopy procedures in combination with synovectomy and arthrolysis
  • Surgical treatment of fractures and pseudoarthrosis
  • Exercise-stable osteosynthesis
  • Endoprosthetic implants
  • Treatment following mobilization of joints in anesthetized patients
  • Reconstructive surgery of biceps tendons
  • Operations on soft tissue in the joint area
  • Mobilization in the case of chronic joint stiffness

Comprehensive Range of Motion

The core strength of the ARTROMOT-E2 lies in its ability to replicate natural movement with exact precision. It supports a full spectrum of motion, ensuring that therapy addresses every angle necessary for a complete recovery.

  • Full Extension and Flexion: The device manages an extension/flexion range of -5° / 0° / 140°, covering the critical arcs of motion required for daily functionality.
  • Pronation and Supination: It accommodates pronation/supination from 90° / 0° / 90°, allowing for comprehensive rotational therapy.
  • Synchronized Motor Control: The E2 features synchronized motors that create a PNF-like motion pattern. You can also toggle motor control to OFF for randomized, asynchronous motion, or isolate specific movements for targeted therapy.
  • ISO Motion Protocol: This feature allows for separate exercising in both directions, ensuring balanced muscle re-education.
  • treatments without extensive training or learning curves.
